Gillie Lane

By in with 0 Comments

Gillie is our expert in all things holistic. With 20 years’ experience behind her as a qualified beauty therapist, Gillie set up and founded MPS in 2004. Having worked in and managed several reputable spas across the UK, Gillie went on to undertake her teacher training certificate before going on to be part of some major well-being events and occupational health projects across the UK. With a passion for holistic well-being and a desire to  share her expertise with others, Gillie saw a need in the market for luxury bespoke treatments to be enjoyed within the home or while holidaying within self catering properties, without having to travel out to a spa.  She began to build her business from the kitchen table, almost single-handedly delivering her indulgent treatments to clients around the UK.  Over a decade later, MPS provides work for over 200 therapists across the UK, leaving Gillie more time to spend in the office (although she does still enjoy delivering the odd treatment or two). Gillie’s natural and nurturing approach to developing awareness around well-being, beauty therapy and stress management sets the standard amongst her staff and therapists.  On the rare occasion that Gillie’s not in the office, she enjoys a busy outdoor life walking, surfing and sailing with her husband and two boys in their beloved Lake District or Wales.
