It’s National Spa Week

Time to treat yourself

By in Blog with 0 Comments

National Spa WeekThe MPS team is excited to be supporting National Spa Week again this year. Not only is it a great excuse to indulge in some much-needed pampering, but a great opportunity to learn about the benefits of spa treatments to mind and body.

As a visiting spa service, we don’t have one central location for clients to visit; in fact we have hundreds of locations to choose from – including your own home!

Our mobile therapists bring the spa experience to homes and holiday properties across the UK. So if you’d like to sample the benefits of spa treatments but prefer a more private experience, our visiting spa service could be the perfect solution.

Press ‘disconnect’

We live in a fast-paced, digital, high-pressure world where it’s becoming more and more difficult to remove ourselves from the stresses and strains of everyday life.

Spa experiences help you to unwind and completely disconnect from external distractions. A professional spa treatment indulges your senses and promotes the release of the chemical serotonin, making you feel good about yourself. Regular treatments allow the body to rejuvenate and can be beneficial in treating long-term muscular and joint pain such as arthritis, sciatica and muscle spasms. So, here at My Personal Sanctuary we are delighted that National Spa Week help raise the profile of the importance of taking time to unwind and relax.

Treatments to target specific needs

A professional therapist will listen to how you’re feeling and tailor the treatment to target specific areas of pain or tension. They’ll expertly choose the most appropriate aromatherapy oils to calm or lift your mood.

Massage can stimulate the lymphatic system, improve blood circulation and rid the body of toxins. An exfoliating body treatment can also drain away impurities and toxins, helping your skin cells to regenerate. All spa treatments have the ability to promote better sleep.

Your visiting therapist will bring everything they need to create the atmosphere of a luxury spa in your home, including a heated treatment bed, relaxing music, 100% organic products and fluffy robes. Ideal if you’d rather avoid those uncomfortable swimsuit moments!

No need to travel
It’s not always easy to find a traditional spa close to home. Our network of therapists covers most of the UK. What’s more, there’s no pressure to get dressed and leave the room after your treatment, simply curl up on your sofa and relax. It’s the same indulgent spa experience without the drive home.

Benefits to illnesses and conditions
Many of our treatments are suitable for people who suffer from long-lasting medical complaints, terminal illness or reduced mobility, and can be experienced seated or lying down. We have therapists qualified to treat those with illnesses and disabilities and help ease the symptoms of long-term conditions.
If you’d like to enjoy the My Personal Sanctuary experience in your home, please give our friendly team a call on 01625 540 557. We’ll be happy to talk through your individual requirements and recommend the most suitable treatment or package. Above all, we promise to make your first visiting spa treatment truly unforgettable.
